SIWOO KIM is a 22 year old filmmaker and creative From South Korea. Having background in Fine Arts and animation, he often integrates his understanding of those disciplines with the art of motion picture. His work often verges on absurd comedy to melodramas, and sometimes serious self reflections on why he is the way he is. Growing up in both South Korea and Singapore, He is influenced by many talented Asian filmmakers such as Hideaki anno, Park chan wook, Hong sang soo and Kiyoshi Kurosawa. He is currently working on a project that draws inspiration from these directors, utilising multimedia, collage and traditional animation to explore dreamscapes and what they mean.
